Profile: AirPal Patient Transfer Systems, Inc. provides patient transfer systems. Our Airpal® products include standard patient positioning pad, RAMP™ rapid airway management positioner, emergency medical service pad, trauma pad and patient positioning pads. Designed specifically to reduce the risks associated with patient handling, the AirPal® is used to transfer patients from bed to stretcher and other areas of the hospital. The AirPal works by releasing low-pressure air through perforated chambers. The launderable nylon patient positioning pad is placed under a patient in the same manner as changing a bed sheet. The portable air supply, plugged into a standard AC outlet, is easily connected to the patient positioning pad by a secure flexible hose. The patient positioning pad is inflated with low pressure air gently lifting the patient. Air escaping from the perforated underside creates a nearly frictionless surface providing an easy and painless transfer.
The company has revenues of USD 1-5 Million and is CE certified.
