Profile: Applied Scientilation Technologies distributes advanced imaging and detection solutions using phosphor and scintillation technology. We offer scintillation solutions including dental, security, health physics, instrumentation, medical and non-destructive testing. Our products allows the conversion of different radiations into light for imaging & detection. Our product line provides the interface for the detection of alpha & beta particle, electrons/ions, infrared, neutron/gamma, UV/Visible & X-ray. The alpha & beta particle manufactures hand-held & fixed scanners for the detection of contamination on personnel, garments or equipment. The high-performance detectors are primarily used in radiation protection applications such as health & safety at work, environment monitoring and decommissioning procedures. The electrons/ions are used in the equipments including low energy electron diffraction (LEED), electron microscopes & electron back scatter diffraction (EBSD). The infrared products are used for imaging & detection applications in general scientific research and the telecommunications industry. The neutrons are used in well logging drilling systems and is used in radiation threat monitoring in airborne and ground-based systems. The range of specialised phosphor screens for X-ray imaging are used in areas such as dental, medical, security and non-destructive testing.

The company has revenues of USD 1-5 Million, has ~20 employees and is ISO9001:2000. certified.
