Profile: Apteryx, Inc. is a custom software development company specializing in the development of medical & dental imaging, image processing, data encryption & security, database, data conversion and distributed systems. Our current products include OEM imaging applications and extensions for large government, domestic & international dental organizations. XrayVision DICOM Capture View®, known as DCV, is a easy to use client software for accessing DICOM servers. Typical users include institutions or dental groups that have to interface with fellow institutions that require DICOM as their viewing and transfer protocol of their electronic health records. DCV allows capturing, viewing, printing, uploading and downloading of case studies, among other features. The DCV application utilizes our current open system architecture similar to the XrayVision® and XVlite® dental imaging software suites in order to capture images from existing imaging hardware systems & submit it to a standard DICOM server. The DCV DICOM® imaging application is used to standardize and unify the dental sites for image capture, storage, retrieval & viewing. Cosmetic Imaging v2.0 for XrayVision®, a complete cosmetic imaging system, provides practitioners with an integrated simulation system. Cosmetic imaging for XrayVision® incorporates WhitenIT, plus the ability to demonstrate crown and amalgam replacement, periodontal treatment, orthodontic treatment & other cosmetic procedures. Patient images are first captured into XrayVision® and then delivered to the cosmetic imaging module, offering a completely transparent & symbiotic software suite.

The company was founded in 1995.
