Profile: Atos Medical AB specializes in the research & development of provox voice and pulmonary rehabilitation system for laryngectomized patients. We produce tympanic ventilation tubes (TympoVent) for every kind of secretory otitis media. We have a complete system of middle ear prostheses and selected precision instruments. TympoVent® ventilation tubes are used to reduce ear infections, or to drain fluid from behind the eardrum. The TympoVent ventilation tubes are made from different materials such as silicone, titanium, fluoroplastic or gilded silver. Fully cured silicone rubber elastomer is one of the materials used for manufacturing TympoVent ventilation tubes. We develop and produce a variety of disposable rhinology products. The products aim to facilitate the daily work of the clinician, both in the operating room and outpatient department. SinoJect® is a unique device used to simplify the puncture and irrigation of the maxillary sinus following purulent sinusitis. By using the spring activated puncture instrument, a staytube catheter is inserted into the maxillary sinus by penetrating the sinus wall without any additional force. Irrigation is then performed, using the lavage tube.

The company was founded in 1986.
