Profile: Bertec Corporation designs and manufactures force measurement devices for clinical applications. Our primary products are balance systems, load cells, force plates and instrumented treadmills. Our standard instrumented treadmill is composed of two belts capable of speeds up to 15km/hr, vertical loads up to 5,000N, and an incline up to 15°. This allows testing on uphill and downhill locomotion as well as simulated tripping with adjustable handrails and an optional overhead safety structure & harness. The secondary products are amplifiers, cables and mounting plates. Our external amplifiers for use with the force plates provide the user with three signal output options are digital, analog and dual digital analog outputs. The digital signal output can be directly plugged into the standard USB port of the personal computers without the requirement of an additional PC card for analog-to-digital signal conversions.
The company was founded in 1987 and is CE certified.
