Our AW and AM series toroidal transformers are specially designed for use as isolation transformers for medical equipment applications. Their important features include full encapsulation, PC mounting and additional magnetic or electrostatic shielding. Our STIM transformers are typically used in neural stimulators, EEG pre-amplifiers, muscle stimulators, and in pain reduction & similar devices, where isolation between the patient and the high voltages potentially present are critical. The STIM transformers can be designed to run in current mode or voltage mode.
