Profile: Brandel offers electrical stimulators, fractionators, fraction collectors, harvesters and dispensing systems. We also provide micro dispensers, peristaltic & syringe pumps, plate sealers and plate storage. Our stimulators are fully programmable, and offer a choice of either mono or biphasic current output. Our micro fractionator permits collection of sequential aliquots of solution as small as 0.25 µl from cylindrical centrifuge tubes, with no mixing of the tube's contents. It is used in preparation of isolating solutes banded on density gradients. This system includes programmable micro fractionator with embedded software, chase pump, one sample block assembly, remote switch, communications cable, tool and cleaning kit. Our micro dispensers consist of a dispensing unit and a separate, pump/controller with keypad. Our dispensers are operated by remote computer using the controllers built-in RS232 port. Our plate sealers offer a quick and easy way to seal plates of almost any size. Simply slide a plate into the left side of the unit and an optical sensor triggers the mechanism, automatically pulling the plate through and applying a seal in about five seconds.

The company has revenues of < USD 1 Million and is CE certified.

An infusion pump is a device used in a health care facility to pump fluids into a patient in a controlled manner. The device may use a piston pump, a roller pump, or a peristaltic pump and may be powered electrically or mechanically. The device may also operate using a constant force to propel the fluid through a narrow tube which determines the flow rate. The device may include means to detect a fault condition, such as air in, or blockage of, the infusion line and to activate an alarm.
