Profile: CDC Technologies, Inc. deals with the development and introduction of diagnostic systems designed for point of care medicine. Our MD MASCOT desktop system performs a complete five-part WBC diff and platelet analysis in addition to a complete blood count on a pinprick of whole blood. It offers user-friendly operation, without the need for sample transport, pre-treatment, or special user training. It completes a cycle in less than 2 minutes with results comparable to instruments seen in larger, more expensive bench top and laboratory analyzers. It meets NCEP guidelines for precision and accuracy.
