Profile: Carpal Doctors, LLC specializes in providing Ctrac. Our Ctrac specializes in treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome. Our Ctrac is a patient-controlled treatment which is used on either right or left hand and treats mild, moderate & severe forms of carpal tunnel syndrome. Our product avoids the need for surgery. It is a non-invasive, safe and easy-to-use alternative which decreases the symptoms in patients. Our product has to be placed on hand, inflate for 2 minutes to instructed stretching force, deflate for 1 minute and again inflate for 2 minutes. The Ctrac works by producing a stretching or traction force along the carpal ligament, which elongates the ligament. The device has a C shaped frame with an air bladder inside the frame where the back part of the hand rests. When the device is placed in the hand, and the bladder is inflated, a 3 point force is applied to the hand. One force is applied in the back of the hand and two opposite forces in the front of the hand. The orientation of these forces and their direction of pull produce a stretching force along the carpal ligament.
