Profile: Chrono-log Corporation introduced the model 700 whole blood/optical lumi-aggregometer, which is available in a two or four channel configuration. Our new aggregometer measures platelet function on patient samples using electrical impedance in whole blood or optical density in plasma with simultaneously measuring ATP release by the luminescence method. Our platelet aggregation systems are currently in use for the clinical diagnosis of platelet disorders and monitoring the effects of drugs on platelet function.
The company has revenues of USD 1-5 Million, has ~20 employees and is CE certified.
