Profile: Clinical Reference Laboratory is a privately held reference laboratory that offers edge testing services in the areas of clinical trials, corporate wellness programs, genomics, insurance and toxicology. We render genomic testing services, from analysis of single base-pair differences to sequencing entire genes that include testing for common conditions to the esoteric condition. Our adiponectin test is used to detect adiponectin. Adiponectin (ADP) is a freely circulating adipocyte hormone involved in glucose and lipid metabolism. ADP circulates at concentrations of 5 to 30 mg/ml. Levels of adiponectin in the blood are decreased under conditions of obesity, insulin resistance and type II diabetes. Some of our toxicology test includes aspirate aminotransferase, panel drug screen, A-1 apolipoprotein, A-1 antitrypsin, and angiotensin II test.
