Profile: Colonair focuses on technology to treat irritable bowel syndromes. Our technology is designed to perform brief outpatient procedures during routine office visits to reduce the symptoms of IBS. We provide cyclical colonic stimulation, a procedure that can be performed using the colonair device. It involves the use of a rectal probe to stimulate the colonic musculature. This procedure requires 5-10 minutes to perform, and is minimally invasive as the rectal probe is inserted one inch into the rectum. Our cyclical colonic stimulation is performed without the use of anesthesia or sedation.
