Profile: Columbia Dentoform Corporation develops a wide range of models and teeth, including teeth with caries & abnormalities, in order to provide the dental community with superior simulation alternatives, as well as patient education models. Our Dentoform® models are used to train students by simulating conditions they will encounter in practice. The model uses a patented Ivorine™ material that makes the teeth provide a look and feel similar to natural teeth. The teeth are positioned into Dentoform® models to provide dentition with normal contact and occlusal relationships. The natural anatomy and placement of teeth in the models provide a true simulation of the embrasure and contours of the gingiva. Our Dentoform® manikins combine the simulation tools necessary for a student laboratory or pre-clinical practice. The complete line includes metal craniums, FletcherT masks, and x-ray models. All Columbia Dentoformr models, teeth, and tooth preparations, even radiopaque plastic teeth, latex tongues, flexible fingers for holding film, and other teaching aids can be utilized with our manikins. They can be adapted to conform to the teaching, demonstration or practice requirements of any institution.
