Profile: Concorde Specialty Gases, Inc. provides medical grade specialty gases. We produce Vitrespan® for retinal physicians. Our SF6 sulfur hexafluoride and C3F8 perfluoropropane are used as medical grade, tamponade gases to aid in the healing process from retinal surgery. Our medical grade, specialty gases are designed for intraocular surgical procedures and these fluorinated gases are used to aid in the surgical repair of retinal detachments and help with the resorption of subretinal fluid to speed recovery. We offer medical pressure regulator for SF6 and C3F8 fluorinated gases. The regulator controls the gas pressure for a lower, more consistent working pressure.
