Profile: DNMS Institute, LLC is a psychotherapy centre for treating adults with complex trauma wounds caused by verbal, physical and sexual abuse, and also those with attachment wounds inflicted by parental rejection, neglect and enmeshment. Our TheraTapper™ provides alternating bilateral stimulation for DNMS and EMDR therapy. It consists of a control box connected to two small pulsers by six-foot wires. The pulsers vibrate in an alternating fashion to provide a gentle tactile stimulation which many find soothing and relaxing. The stimulation is comparable to the vibration of a pager or cell phone. The wires connecting the control box to the pulsers often wear out after 6-12 months of use. When a wire wears out, it can be unplugged from the control box and the pulsers.
