Profile: Daum Gmbh specializes in interventional procedures under magnetic resonance imaging guidance. Our TrackPointer™ is a minimally invasive instrument. It allows best orientation and facilitates the exact localization of suspected lesions or high-risk structures during MRI guided interventions. It is a tube which can either be filled with sodium chloride solution or with a solution of Gd-DTPA (1%). It can be adapted to several tracking systems. The positive signal of the pointer makes it visible outside the patient and in air-filled areas. It helps the physician to plan the intervention and avoid calibration errors. Our Mridd Neurocut™ is a biopsy needle utilized for diagnostic brain biopsies. Our MRI/Conventional Biopsykit™ comes as a set including an MR compatible coaxial needle with two regular stainless steel biopsy guns. The coaxial needle is inserted into the respective region under MRI guidance. After the placement of the coaxial needle, the patient is moved out of the MRI and the biopsy gun is completely inserted through the coaxial needle in order to access the area of interest at the tip of the coaxial needle.
The company has revenues of < USD 1 Million, has ~30 employees and is ISO 9001, CE certified.
