Profile: Decimal, Inc. manufactures patient-specific devices that include missing tissue compensators, modulators for advanced IMRT delivery, as well as apertures and range compensators used in proton therapy. We provide radiation therapy products to hospitals and cancer centers. Our compensator-based intensity modulated radiation therapy is an advanced method for delivering radiation to the patients' tumors. Compensators modulate the fluence for a given field with a single constant beam, thus there is no temporal variation, no fraction-to fraction variability, and no moving parts. Our missing tissue/dose compensators treat dose to a plane, minimizing hot spots, while providing more dimension than a simple wedge. Compensators are milled to the specifications of the treatment plan from aluminum. Our Bolus electron conformal therapy uses a single electron beam with a variable thickness bolus compensator, which contains the PTV while delivering dose.
