Profile: Dermaport develops medical devices that retain fixation and resist infection at the percutaneous interface of the skin. We manufacture ported vascular access system, which is a centrally placed, ported catheter system for patients with end stage kidney diseases. This system is designed for central venous catheter coupled to a port for hemodialysis and the cuff replaces with a proprietary titanium mesh, which is mounted on a separate port. Our Pvastm permits for guide-wire replacement or manipulation of the catheter without disrupting the superior tissue in-growth provided by the titanium mesh.
