Profile: Dillon Optics manufactures specialized non-image reflecting (NIR) lenses for sunglasses. We use NIR lens technology for producing our sunglass lenses. The technology utilizes a polarized diffuse reflector that reduces internal reflections within the lens, allowing for noticeably sharper clarity. The NIR lenses are made of CR-39™, which block 100 percent of UV light, and also feature oleophobic coating, which resists oil & moisture.
