Profile: ERMI, Inc is involved in the business of surgical appliances. We supply knees, ankles, shoulders and elbow products. Our Knee Extensionater™ is a device that uses pneumatic air bladder technology to create overpressure to treat extension loss. Our Knee Extensionater™ gives the patient complete control and features to add/remove load on the joint in very small increments. We offer knee & ankle flexionaters, a device which allows the patient to practice overpressure therapy at home in order to improve knee flexion, which can generate loads, that range from zero to several hundred foot-pounds of torque to accommodate the specific mechanical characteristics of the scar tissue found in each patient. Our shoulder flexionater is designed to improve external rotation and abduction. Our anti-rotation bar keeps the patient in place while working external rotation. It has a pad on top of the shoulder, that keeps the joint in place while working abduction, and a pad across which blocks the patient from raising the shoulder while using the device. These devices are used to allow maximum external rotation to 60° and abduction to 90° by isolating the glenohumeral joint. We develop elbow Extensionater®, a device that uses patented pneumatic air bladder technology, and is designed to improve flexion and extension. Our Extensionater® also features a custom-fit for each patient to ensure comfort and anatomically correct mechanics.
