Profile: Emergency Products and Research is a manufacturer of industry standard spine boards, immobilization devices and extrication products. We offer optimum rescue vests, the optimum rescue vest-plus, and the optimum traction device. Our complete line of Bak-Pak™ spine boards is the result of hard work and extensive experimentation by experts in orthotics, pre-hospital care, engineering and rotational molding. We use a specially compounded linear low density polyethylene outer shell that gives the Bak-Pak™ superior impact resistance at the coldest temperatures. Our maxi-wide™ spinal immobilization board is made of high impact, durable MDPE plastic with a foam core and stiffeners. It resists body fluids and can be cleaned easily.
