Profile: Escreen, Inc. manufactures and markets an automated, instant, clinic-based rapid drug testing device. The drug screening industry is highly fragmented and the testing process requires extensive, time-consuming paper management and extended turnaround time on test results. We are able to offer a rapid, electronic, paperless solution to collection facilities to service their customers in the most efficient and consistent method possible. Our product list comprises of paperless chain of custody (CCF) & ePad, eCup and eReader. The eCup is a self contained testing device that does not require pouring, transferring or pipetting of the specimen. It consists of a dumb cup and a smart lid. The smart lid contains reagent test strips, sensitive to the five-test substance abuse and mental health services administration (SAMHSA) profile cutoff levels. The specimen is collected in the eCup, sealed and entered into the eScreen software. The eCup is inserted into the reader and with one click of the mouse, the latter is activated & completes the screening process without any further human involvement.

The company was founded in 1998.
