Profile: Essex Cryogenics provides engineered products for emergency medical, home health care and general industries. We design and manufacture cryogenic system series of air sampling canisters for the measurement of global atmospheric gases, liquid oxygen converters, and containers for home health care dewars, portable therapeutic LOX systems, lightweight oxygen systems, tankage for LNG, CNG and other alternate fuels, gas cylinders, associated valves, heat exchangers & support components. Our ambulance liquid oxygen systems are available in 25-liter and 8.5-liter configurations. Each model is a fixed method of storing oxygen in liquid form on land or air ambulance. The 25 liter system has the equivalent of 19,352 liters of gaseous oxygen, while reducing ambulance weight and space requirements by as much as 60 percent, & it is ideal for long-distance patient transport.

Heated, ultrasonic, gas, venturi, and refillable nebulizers are included in this generic type of device. |
• Gas Cylinder Pressure Regulator (FDA Code: CAN / 868.2700) A pressure regulator is a device, often called a pressure-reducing valve, that is intended for medical purposes and that is used to convert a medical gas pressure from a high variable pressure to a lower, more constant working pressure. This device includes mechanical oxygen regulators. |
• Oxygen Conserver (FDA Code: NFB / 868.5905) A noncontinuous ventilator (intermittent positive pressure breathing-IPPB) is a device intended to deliver intermittently an aerosol to a patient's lungs or to assist a patient's breathing. |
• Portable Liquid Oxygen Unit (FDA Code: BYJ / 868.5655) A portable liquid oxygen unit is a portable, thermally insulated container of liquid oxygen that is intended to supplement gases to be inhaled by a patient, is sometimes accompanied by tubing and an oxygen mask.
