The contact point technology when used in a rotary method has an added feature. Because of the reduced force and thus reduced stress on the surface of a component (especially metal), the surface quality of the cut surface is higher than with standard cutting methods. There are minimal or no mechanical/metallurgical changes in the sample. Our cutting & grinding devices are designed to work in concert to produce thin sections of samples containing metals, polymers and human tissue.
