A CPAP (Continuous Positive Air Pressure) provides a constant flow of air into a mask system to open up the obstructed airway caused by obstructive sleep apnea and other physical obstructions of the airway. All CPAP masks are compatible with any CPAP machine. CPAP accessories include filters, humidifiers, hoses and tubing, chin straps, headgear, mask parts, power cords, power inverters, cpap battery, oxygen enrichment adapters, humidifier containers and snugglehose tubing covers. Our auto titrating cpap machines automatically adjust the pressure to the changing needs of the patient. BiPAP or bi-level machines have two different pressure settings. One pressure setting is for inhale, and one pressure setting is for exhale. There is also an automatic bipap machine available that combines the automatic pressure setting feature into the dual pressure system of a BIPAP. There are also machines available that prompt a breath and machines that have a back up rate. The BIPAP is generally prescribed for patients with severe sleep apnea requiring higher than normal pressures (typically above 12 cm/H2O).
