All our sunglasses totally block out UVA radiation, which tan our skin and speed up the aging process and UVB radiation, which causes sunburn. Filter categories indicate the level of light transmitted through the lens and there are three categories of filters. We use the darkest lenses of category 3, as these are for use in very bright conditions. Our sunglasses are all hypo allergenic, thus preventing the leaching of nickel which causes skin irritation.
