Profile: Frazer, Inc. manufactures generator-powered emergency medical service (EMS) modules. Our models include Type I, Type I Additional Duty, Type III and Urban Command Vehicle (UCV). The Type I model is mounted on a light-duty cab/chassis. The Type I Additional Duty is mounted on an additional-duty cab/chassis. The Type I models are lightweight and have all-aluminum interior cabinets, a 120V air conditioner/heat pump unit, a 120V quartz halogen scene lighting & full LED lights. Type III is mounted on a Ford or Chevrolet Cutaway chassis. It features top of the line warning and scene lighting. The UCV, used by paramedic supervisors, has an all-aluminum construction, good remountability and versatility. We use two structural aluminum tubes in each corner for durability, strength in wrecks and ease of remount. Our modules do not have wood or wood products in them. Aluminum, stainless steel and fiberglass/urethane composites give good strength to weight ratio. Our doors are uniform in design, brake formed and welded to eliminate potential cracks and closed via slam latches for ease of operation and maintenance.
