Profile: Geister Medizintechnik GmbH is a manufacturer of specialized surgical products carrying a full range of advanced surgical instruments and devices. We work in the three business fields such as cardio, neuro and powered. We develop innovative product and process solutions for coronary artery bypass grafting, correcting congenital heart disease, treating valvular diseases, reconstructing the vascular system or even transplanting heart or liver. Our ValveGate™ instruments offer a less traumatic way of operating on heart valves through a minimal invasive access. We deliver disposable and reusable stabilizer systems for beating heart surgery. Our SpineGate™ retractor system, can be used for minimally invasive intervention with the endoscope, as well as for micro-surgery with a microscope, together with the common standard instrumentation. An additional holding device is available on request and can be combined with the system. This autoclavable system consists of a circular base plate with valves of different depths and an optional ultra-compact 90 inches endoscope with high resolution. The variable valves can be fixed on different positions within the 360 degree geometry of the base plate, and thus provides a continuously adjustable working space according to the anatomical characteristics of the patient. The different lengths of the valves allow cervical, dorsal or posterolateral use.
The company is DIN ISO 9001, ISO 13485 certified.
