A circumcision instrument consists of a pair of crossed elements and a pivot pin fixed between the crossed elements that allow for movement of the crossed elements toward and away from each other about a common axis. The crossed elements comprise a handle with a finger loop at the proximal end of the crossed elements. It is used to crush the tissue without completely severing the tissue. It is suitable for use during the circumcision procedure.
