Profile: Global Medical Foam, Inc. offers a comprehensive and complete line of pressure management products. Our products are offered under the brand name of Conforming Comfort®. Our products are patented design positioning devices that offer proven pressure reduction for patients or residents of long term care facilities, hospitals, home care, hospice, and rehabilitation. Our products include heel/arterial devices, abduction wedges, wheelchair cushions & pads, mattress overlays and incontinent pads. Our Arterial Heel Device is designed to offload pressure from the heels to the tendonous portion of the calf. The unique core center provides adequate support without bottoming out and the deep convolutions distribute the pressure appropriately. It is intended for patients/residents with heel ulcers as seen in peripheral arterial disease, diabetes, or other conditions related to pressure. This product is supplied along with anti-viral, anti-bacterial, moisture-proof, and machine washable/dryable covers. Our Conforming Comfort® Venous Stasis device offers off-loading support while maintaining the pressure relief reduction design which spreads the weight to minimize skin pressure and yet, maintain elevation for good venous drainage that prevents and treats stasis ulcers secondary to the post phlebitic syndrome. Our GMF Foam Mattress Overlay converts a regular bed into a therapeutic bed and minimizes the pressure between the tissue and bony prominences. Our Gridtop cushions for wheelchairs distribute the weight of the patient evenly, helping to allow for pressure reduction to those areas of contact. Our abduction wedges are suitable for patients/residents who have hip fractures, contractures or spasms. Their disposable covers are anti-bacterial and water resistant.
The company was founded in 1992, has revenues of < USD 1 Million.
