Our Roentgen stereophotogrammetric analysis (RSA) bead inserter is an instrument designed for insertion of 1 mm diameter tantalum bead implants into bone. It is part of the RSA bead inserter kit which also includes a replacement needle, replacement piston, and a sterilization container. It uses tantalum beads. The tantalum bead set consists of 1 mm spherical X-ray markers made of tantalum. They are used as radio-opaque markers to be implanted into bone or soft tissue. We also manufacture a carbon fiber uni-planar calibration box for use in conjunction with CR RSA suites.
