Our featherweight aluminum fore-arm crutch has aluminum casting on handle for extra strength. Both the hand and cuff height are adjustable. Adult front opening vinyl covered cuff measures 3 1/2" across with an opening of 2 3/8". Child front opening vinyl covered cuff measures 3" across with an opening of 2 3/8". Measurements in fitting Lofstrand crutches to the patient are made from the palm of the hand to the floor with the arm parallel to the body. Our Lofstrand anodized aluminum under-arm crutches are made of seamless aircraft aluminum tubing, making them extremely strong yet lightweight. All holes are precision drilled (not punched) and the solid wood arm rests and hand grips are made from select northern hardwood, with the finest natural lacquer finish.
