The elliptical shaped incision is easier to close and makes the resulting scar from the biopsy less noticeable. Our Wittenberg VisiPunch is a circular dermal biopsy punch with windows in the blade that enable the medical clinician to clearly visualize the lesion being removed to ensure a higher rate of clear surgical margins. The excised tissue sample is easily removed through the window. We also offer sample packs featuring a combination of ElliptiPunches and VisiPunches. Our DermaPunch has an ultra-sharp stainless steel blade and is capable of making perfect circular biopsy incision. It also has a ribbed handle for better gripping.
