Profile: Hypermed uses Hyperspectral imaging technology established during the past 20 years and originally used in satellite surveillance, with major aerospace and military applications. Medical Hyperspectral Imaging (HSI) is an advanced form of spectroscopy that provides a two-dimensional tissue oxygenation map. Our OxyVu System uses multiple wavelengths of light to analyze the tissue. The reflected light data collected during imaging is processed to separate the oxy- and deoxyhemoglobin signals. Algorithms are used to display data in an oxygenation map of tissue viability.
