Profile: In Vivo Metric is a manufacturer of reusable sintered silver-silver chloride electrodes made with 1 mm thick Ag-AgCl sintered sensor mounted in an epoxy ring housing. All parts are firmly encapsulated with epoxy, resulting in a tough, durable waterproof assembly. Standard electrode wires are 1 m long, unshielded and insulated (shorter & longer wires are available). These wires are very strong, flexible and fatigue resistant. Medical applications of these electrodes include: Biopotential skin electrodes, EEG cap electrodes, transdermal drug delivery, electrically induced osteogenesis, iontophoresis, membrane potential monitoring, and intracellular stimulation and recording. We also supply vascular occluders which are reusable, inflatable, silicon rubber cuffs used for the constriction of blood vessels and soft organs, for zero blood flow determination.

The company was founded in 1965, has revenues of < USD 1 Million and is CE certified.

• Composite Surface Biopotential Electrode
• Cutaneous Electrode (FDA Code: GXY / 882.1320)
A cutaneous electrode is an electrode that is applied directly to a patient's skin either to record physiological signals (e.g., the electroencephalogram) or to apply electrical stimulation.
• Electroconductive Media (FDA Code: GYB / 882.1275)
Electroconductive media are the conductive creams or gels used with external electrodes to reduce the impedance (resistance to alternating current) of the contact between the electrode surface and the skin.
• Electrodes and Other Components, Gold Cup Electrodes
• Patient Monitoring Cable Assemblies
• Patient Transducer and Electrode Cable (FDA Code: DSA / 870.2900)
A patient transducer and electrode cable (including connector) is an electrical conductor used to transmit signals from, or power or excitation signals to, patient-connected electrodes or transducers.
• Powered Reflex Hammer (FDA Code: IKO / 890.1450)
A powered reflex hammer is a motorized device intended for medical purposes to elicit and determine controlled deep tendon reflexes.
• Vessel Occlusion Transducer (FDA Code: DXP / 870.2890)
