Profile: Insense Ltd is developing new treatments focusing on the treatment of skin and nail conditions. Two therapeutic applications which are being targeted are plaque psoriasis and onychomychosis (fungal nail). Our wound care products include Oxyzyme™ and Iodozyme™. Our Oxyzyme™ is used for non-infected wounds and Iodozyme™ is used for infected wounds. The dressings produce a low level of hydrogen peroxide, to generate iodine within the dressing. The iodine helps to create a hostile environment to bacteria. The low level of iodine in Oxyzyme™ creates an antimicrobial environment within the dressing and at the wound interface. The high level of iodine in Iodozyme™ enables effective treatment of wound bed infections. We also offer neuropathic pain relief, acne therapy and onychomycosis products.
