Profile: International Brachytherapy, Sa specializes in the treatment of cancer using radiation technology. We develop iodine-125 implants for the treatment of prostate cancer and ruthenium-106 eye applicators & plaques for the treatment of eye cancer treatment. Our product line includes seeds, afterloading, treatment planning, ophthalmic and therapy accessories. The seed implants are used for the treatment of prostate cancer. Our afterloading includes multisource®, curietron® and Ir-192 wire source. The Ir-192 wires are designed for the treatment of head & neck, breast, anal and gynecological cancers by interstitial or intracavitary brachytherapy. Our treatment planning includes permanent seed implant dosimetry and HDRplus™. The Ru-106 ophthalmic plaque applicators are used for the treatment of uveal melanomas and retinoblastomas.
