Profile: Jenx Limited designs and manufactures therapeutic products for children with special needs. Our products include seating, standing, sleeping (Dreama™) and toileting. Our beta is a modular abducted seating system. Abducted sitting helps to reduce overall tone in tight muscles & can help to prevent damage to hips in children who tend to cross their legs strongly. The resulting sitting position offers function to children along with the chance to exercise some of their weaker muscle groups. The amount of abduction in each hip can be adjusted individually as can leg length & foot position. beta has a full range of back & seat angle adjustments to offer conventional, reclined & tilt-in-space positions. Hydraulic base options offer greater ease & range of height adjustment & help to protect carers' backs. The Rifton Blue Wave bathing system offers a safe, secure chair to make hygiene & personal care simple for both user and carer. The system is suitable for users up to 173cm tall and 73kg in weight. Tub and shower stands are also available, bringing the seat to a convenient height for transfers. We make standard and made-to-measure rolls, wedges & mats in a variety of fabrics. Rolls can be used to support children in lying or sitting or can be a very active part of their therapy programme.
