Profile: Kanda Optical Co., Ltd. provides folding spectacle frames. We offer Slimfold, Slimfold ultra and Slimfold flex frames. The Slimfold folding optical frames are compact and convenient. The Slimfold folds to an incredible 10 mm, less than half the size of ordinary frames. Our Slimfold ultra folding optical frames have been developed incorporating a locking hinge mechanism. The hinges lock automatically when the temples are opened. This ensures that the frame remains in a horizontal level without twisting while being worn on the face. The Slimfold flex frames have the spring hinges which enable comfortable fit. Soft nose pads are fixed onto the spring pad arms enabling an adjustable and comfortable fit on the bridge of the nose.
