Profile: Koldcare is a manufacturer of medical products for first aid treatment of pains, burns, wounds and swelling related to home, industrial & sports injuries. It is designed specifically to relieve pain from injuries and promote better healing. Our products are sold within the sports medicine, hospital, military, chiropractic, industrial, first aid & physical therapy markets. Koolaburn® sterile fire blankets are made from a 96% water gel-saturated polished non-woven polyester. The non-woven polyester is heat resistant and the gel saturation allows the blanket to withstand temperatures of 2000°C (3568°F) for several minutes, enabling the blanket to be used as a valuable tool for both lifesaving & fire rescue. The sterile condition also makes the blanket usable to cover the body in the effort to protect a victim from further infection or hypothermia during transfer to a hospital. The cooling effect of the gelled water not only helps relieve pain but also helps stop the spread of the burn. Our complete line of bandages cool injuries to help reduce pain and compress injuries to help reduce swelling. An exclusive formulation of gelled water is imbedded into an elastic foam material that wraps completely around the injured area to effectively cool the entire injury. The gel-imbedded wrap evaporates water to simultaneously provide moist, penetrating cooling action and compression. The cooling effect lasts for hours and there is no danger of tissue damage from excessive cold as with the application of ice. Koldwrap can also be refrigerated for an even cooler effect on an injury.
The company was founded in 1980, has revenues of < USD 1 Million and is ISO 9002, CE certified.
