Profile: Lawrence-Nelson, LLC focuses on the premium wheelchair immobilization system simply referred to as Flex™. This system permits a user to securely immobilize both rear wheelchair wheels with a single lever, which can be positioned on either side of the chair. An additional benefit of the Flex™ system is its limber, cable-based design, which permits the wheelchair to be collapsed and folded just as easily as a wheelchair equipped with a standard wheel-locking system. Our Flex™ is a rear wheel immobilizer for wheelchairs. It immobilizes both wheels simultaneously by the operation of one lever. It does not interfere with the normal folding of the wheelchair. It is useful for everyone who uses a wheelchair but is particularly helpful, and may be prescribed as a medical necessity for individuals who have lost strength or mobility in one hemisphere.
The company was founded in 2002.
