They are produced from a high grade of carbon steel obtained from Switzerland and has a rounded tip to reduce puncture risk. It is compatible with Myco's #74 handle. Our safety collection and infusion sets promote OSHA safety standards with needles that can be easily shielded during withdrawal utilizing single-handed activation. Our VAKU-8 blood collection sets & Unolok infusion sets are manufactured from non-toxic, medical grade PVC on highly automated assembly machines. Needles are inspected by electronic vision camera systems to identify blunt, damaged or blocked cannula to ensure perfect needle points. Proprietary siliconization process enhances patient comfort by reducing penetration force.
