Our odontoid curved drill guide is a curved, stainless steel tube with reversible handle to accommodate both left-handed and right-handed surgeons. The curved guide tube is approximately 16 cm in length with a serrated distal end to provide excellent purchase into the inferior edge of C2. The anterior screw fixation of the odontoid is the treatment of choice in most cases of type II odontoid fractures.
