Profile: Medical Instrumentation and Diagnostics Corporation specializes in offering medical products for stereotactic procedures. We offer computer assisted stereotactic surgery (CASS) imaging systems with modules for multi-modality imaging, volume imaging, image fusion, brain mapping, epilepsy treatment planning, brachytherapy, radiosurgery, fractionated radiotherapy, tumor volume resection, robotics and laser localization systems. All systems are modular & upgradable, and supplied on various silicon graphics' platforms. We also offer couchmount and floor stand systems for linac radiosurgery, TruTaper collimators for radiosurgery & associated quality assurance equipment, laser localization & calibration system for radiosurgery & BodyLoc for stereotactic localization of the whole body. The BodyLoc system is developed to meet the fundamental requirements of body immobilization and stereotactic localization in a non-invasive manner. Fractionated radiation therapy to a target lesion within the body is the primary method used for radiation therapy. This method requires precise immobilization and repositioning of the patient for other treatment sessions. The BodyLoc system is capable of immobilizing the head and neck, as well as the thorax, abdomen & pelvis.
