Profile: Medical Soft, Inc. provides software for obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound. Babe™ is a software package for obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound. It uses an intuitive interface and powerful fetal growth analysis to generate a clear, comprehensive report. Basic and Network are the two versions of Babe™. Each computer with Babe™ Basic has its own database. No data is shared between computers. The Babe™ networking allows multiple computers, which may be at different sites, to share a common patient database. BabeGYN™ is a user-friendly application to report gynecologic ultrasound exams. The GYN report includes detailed descriptions of the uterus and adnexa. The BabeGYN™ software is divided into several sections including demographics, clinical data, description of uterus, and adnexa. BabeMail™ is a software module which allows e-mailing of reports directly from Babe™. BabeFax™ allows reports to be faxed directly to a fax machine. BabeAnte™, can create reports that contain non-stress test (NST) and umbilical artery Doppler data. Our other modules include BabeLink™ and BabeStat™.

An obstetric-gynecologic ultrasonic imager is a device designed to transmit and receive ultrasonic energy into and from a female patient by pulsed echoscopy. This device is used to provide a visual representation of some physiological or artificial structure, or of a fetus, for diagnostic purposes during a limited period of time. This generic type of device may include the following: signal analysis and display equipment, electronic interfaces for other equipment, patient and equipment supports, coupling gel, and component parts. This generic type of device does not include devices used to monitor the changes in some physiological condition over long periods of time.
