Profile: Metalcraft Industries, Inc. offers modular and plywood & foam seating to mount directly to the Ki mobility catalyst wheelchair frames. Our products are seating, positioning kits, pads, brackets and others. We provide custom modular, plywood & foam, foam-in-place and component seating. Our positioning kits include head, anterior trunk, lateral thoracic, pelvic, abduction, foot, hip and lateral thigh positioning. We offer three sizes of contoured headrest. All contoured headrest sizes have medial or lateral contouring to provide better contact and encourage the individual to center head and upholstered in choice of fabrics and color. The contoured headrests are made of steel and plated to resist corrosion and the rear is covered with a 1/8" layer of dense neoprene foam. We use a high-grade of solid hardwood 9-ply plywood that is 1/2" thick, cut it to specifications, and install an abundance of 1/4-20 T-nuts for mounting hardware and additional positioning devices. Our lateral thoracic positioning is of two types which are slideaway and swingaway laterals. The slideaway and removable lateral thoracic positioning kits are complete kits that include pads, bracket, slide bracket and mounting fasteners.
