Profile: Micron Products, Inc. supplies silver/silver chloride plated sensor elements for the medical industry. Our MicroSense™ Gemini Series silver/silver chloride eyelets & metal snaps are sensors, used primarily in heart monitoring and bioinstrumentation electrodes. They feature a silver or silver/chloride coating over a molded plastic substrate. They are available in various silver thicknesses over a fiberglass reinforced or conductive carbon filled resin substrate. The MicroSense™ Agility Series Radiolucent One Piece Sensors are a single unit, designed to accept industry standard snap (parallel spring) or clip lead wires. They are available with either a glass filled or carbon filled substrate. These one-piece sensors are supplied with a silver/silver chloride coating thickness ranging from 65 to 100 micro inches. Our MicroSense™ Performance RT Series Conductive Carbon Snap and Eyelet are disposable radio-translucent electrode sensors that permit radiological, magnetic resonance and other imaging examinations without electrode removal and/or replacement. Our MicroSense™ Pre-Wired Sensors are specifically configured to allow ease of permanent lead wire attachment, usually by ultrasonic welding. These sensor elements have proven ideal in a variety of medical monitoring, diagnostic and other bioinstrumentation applications.
The company was founded in 1978, has revenues of USD 5-10 Million, has ~60 employees and is ISO 9001 certified. AMEX:HRT (SEC Filings)
