Profile: Mini Lap Technologies Inc. develops novel instrumentation for use in minimally invasive surgery. Our platforms of ultra-minimally invasive devices enhance commonly performed laparoscopic procedures and act as a bridge to single-port applications. Our very small diameter instruments and the delivery conduit in a disposable instrument with a 2.3mm outer diameter, help the surgical administrator to control costs & the patient for minimized surgical pain and scaring. Our instruments are used in surgical procedures including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and repair of inguinal hernia & in gynecology procedures such as tubal ligation and other fallopian tube related surgical procedures. The Mini-lap is designed with four instruments, which are the gator clamp, clutch clamp, the bowel clamp and the babcock-type clamp. Our alligator clamps are developed to grab and retract tissues such as the gallbladder, muscle or fascia or specimen tissue. Our babcock clamp is used to secure and retract a vascular or infundibular structure. Our clutch clamp is to grasp and retract tissue such as stomach, esophagus, duodenum, appendix & ovary.
