Profile: National Hearing Center specializes in hearing instruments. Our products include conventional hearing aids, programmable hearing aids & digital hearing aids. Our conventional hearing aids are basic type of hearing aids & selected by the hearing professional so that the hearing aid response matches with the client's hearing loss at the time of testing. Conventional aids have a microphone to gather sound, an amplifier to increase sound volume & a receiver to transmit the amplified sound to the ear. Our programmable hearing aid instruments have analog circuit that can be adjusted on a computer by the hearing professional. Our digital hearing aids improve the clarity of sound, reduce circuit noise, enhance sound processing, & improve listening noise. Digital aids adjust volume automatically. The hearing aids are of various types such as behind-the-ear, in-the-ear, completely-in-the-canal and on-the-body hearing aids. The behind-the-ear hearing aid fits behind the ear and carries sound to the ear through a custom ear mold. They are useful for mild- to severe-hearing loss. The in-the-ear is custom made to fit in the outer ear. This is useful for mild to moderate hearing loss. The completely-in-the-canal hearing aid is custom made to fit in the ear canal. It helps people with the worst hearing loss. The on-the-body is for very bad hearing loss. It is connected with a wire to an ear receiver that is attached to an ear mold.
