Profile: NordicNeuroLab Inc. manufactures and supplies products for MRI, with a special focus on functional imaging. Our product line features a seamlessly integrated set of hardware components and software applications that are used separately to simplify the complex operations associated with fMRI. Our products include MR simulator, visual system, response grips, audio system, and hardware cabinet. Our products are specifically designed to meet the standards required for advanced fMRI applications. Our hardware is also ideally suitable for standard clinical MR sites, where patient comfort is emphasized. We also provide medical image analysis software. Our nordicICE basic module offers a comprehensive collection of basic image handling, analysis, processing, and visualization options. Our full-scale MR simulator is a solution for preparing patients for MRI/fMRI studies. The MR simulator helps increase the studies and reduces the risk of premature session termination related to patient discomfort. The possibility of setting up a realistic MR environment makes the development & testing of experimental paradigms easier and allows for behavioral data to be collected from patients & control groups in an MR-like setting. Our VisualSystem is a flexible and convenient solution for presenting visual stimuli in the MR scanner. With sharp images and brilliant colors, it allows the user to easily present graphics/text to the patient. It is connected to standard PC graphics cards and has separate channels for each eye. It is designed with both patient and operator in mind. The patent-pending design fits most head coils and is easy to mount with coil-specific adapters. The adjustable arm allows for fast positioning into the preferred angle of view.

• Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Imaging System (FDA Code: LNH / 892.1000) A magnetic resonance diagnostic device is intended for general diagnostic use to present images which reflect the spatial distribution and/or magnetic resonance spectra which reflect frequency and distribution of nuclei exhibiting nuclear magnetic resonance. Other physical parameters derived from the images and/or spectra may also be produced. The device includes hydrogen-1 (proton) imaging, sodium-23 imaging, hydrogen-1 spectroscopy, phosphorus-31 spectroscopy, and chemical shift imaging (preserving simultaneous frequency and spatial information). |
• Radiological Image Processing System (FDA Code: LLZ / 892.2050) A picture archiving and communications system is a device that provides one or more capabilities relating to the acceptance, transfer, display, storage, and digital processing of medical images. Its hardware components may include workstations, digitizers, communications devices, computers, video monitors, magnetic, optical disk, or other digital data storage devices, and hardcopy devices. The software components may provide functions for performing operations related to image manipulation, enhancement, compression or quantification. |
